Brace to depart Bell Media

Rick Brace will retire from Bell Media at the end of the year. He is currently president of specialty channels and CTV production. Brace will continue to act as a consultant to Bell Media and the company's representative on the boards of directors of Discovery Canada, CTV Specialty Television and the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Upon Brace's retirement, Phil King will become president of CTV sports and entertainment programming. He his currently president of CTV programming and sports. In this expanded role, he will gain additional responsibility for Bell Media's English-language specialty channels, consolidating of all of the company's English-language television and digital programming, content creation and content acquisition. Catherine MacLeod will remain senior vice-president of specialty channels.
