Sympatico to rebrand as The Loop

Bell Media will rebrand its Sympatico website as The Loop on Dec. 13. The site, which will be located at <http://www.theloop.ca>, is intended to present the most successful content from Sympatico. It will feature original video content hosted by a group of experts on various topics. The site will feature daily content divided into channels such as "Living," "Style" and "Showbiz," as well as news from CTV. The content will be aimed at adults between the ages of 25 and 54. "After 17 years of digital innovation and marketplace success, Sympatico was ready for the next stage in its evolution, the bringing together of Bell Media's content expertise with the incredible digital delivery opportunities of Sympatico," said Catherine MacLeod, vice-president of specialty channels at Bell Media. "The Loop is a daily destination with brand-defining correspondents for each content channel, and a whole team dedicated to original video production. The Loop will enhance the experience of our loyal Sympatico audiences with content so effortless and fun, visitors to the site will want to make it part of their daily routine."
