Tan joins WestJet

Calgary-based airline WestJet has appointed Alfredo Tan to the position of chief digital and innovation officer. When he begins work on March 5, he will be responsible to leading the company's digital initiatives. Tan was most recently chief operating officer at Dubdub.com. Prior to that, he was group director of global marketing solutions at Facebook. He was also senior director of strategic partnerships and strategic alliances director at Sympatico/MSN.
