New marketing director at Yahoo Canada

Toronto-based Yahoo Canada has hired Sara Moore as director of marketing. She was most recently senior vice-president of marketing and publicity at Alliance Atlantis Communications. Prior to that, she was assistant vice-president of customer relationship marketing at Rogers Wireless. Moore will lead the company's audience-facing initiatives, including consumer, small business and medium-sized business marketing, segmentation and research, trade marketing and public relations. Senior director Alfredo Tan has been given added responsibilities for Yahoo's partner-related activities, including business and account development, search marketing and affiliate partnerships.
