Nokia conducts Sauna Talk campaign

Nokia has begun an international business-to-business campaign, developed by Noise Digital of Vancouver. The online initiative, called "Sauna Talk," is intended to raise awareness of Nokia's N-Gage product among video game developers. "Ultimately we needed to find a way to communicate with the game developer community to discuss a wide range of topics, some of which can be quite technical," said Mark Nishiguchi, managing partner at Noise Digital. "We felt that we could use humour to both engage and inform our target audience. The result was Sauna Talk." The campaign includes a website at <http://www.insider.ngage.com/saunatalk/> and a series of video segments that parody a technology talk show. The effort also makes use of social networking websites and a trivia contest hosted on games industry website Gamasutra.com.
