King moves to CTV

CTV has appointed Phil King to the positions of president of sports and executive vice-president of programming. He will be responsible the CTV's sports properties, which include TSN, RDS, TSN2, RIS Info Sports, NHL Network and ESPN Classic. Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium will also report to the company through King. King was most recently president of TSN. He joined the channel in 1989 as audit manager and later held the positions of program administration manager, programming director and senior programming vice-president. Rick Brace has moved the the position of president of revenue and business planning for CTV. Brace also remains chairman of the board of CTV Specialty Television and a senior advisor on the Olympic Games.
