Astral Media has signed-on as a sponsor of Canadian freestyle wrestler Martine Dugrenier. The three-time World Champion and eight-time Canadian Champion will compete at the London Olympic Games this summer. Over several months, a number of Astral radio stations nationally will air twenty one-minute interview segments between Dugrenier and sports commentator Christian Tétreault. In addition, MusiquePlus will air a special report on Dugrenier and her training regime. "The relationship that unites Martine Dugrenier to Astral goes back a few years," said Jacques Parisien, executive vice-president and chief operating officer at Astral. "We are very proud to announce today our financial support in the wake of her participation in the Olympics and thus show her that Astral and all of its employees are behind her. On top of being an accomplished athlete and a very determined young woman, Martine has a very engaging personality and represents a deeply inspiring model for all Canadians."

Financial advisory firm Ernst & Young has signed a three-year Canadian sponsorship agreement with Cirque du Soleil. The agreement makes Ernst & Young the show's exclusive accounting and business advisory sponsor. The deal includes hospitality activities, employee benefits, and special events for clients and staff. "We share so many things, from our history to our values," said Kelly Peace, national marketing and communications director for Ernst & Young in Canada. "This sponsorship is a natural extension of our great relationship with Cirque du Soleil, and we are excited to work together to provide truly unforgettable experiences for our clients and employees. This sponsorship allows us to advance our brand in bold, non-traditional ways, which is truly exciting."
