Toronto-based Grip has become one of an initial international group of agencies to become part of the Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer Program. The agencies specialize in "page management solutions, ads management solutions, services and platforms for building socially enabled integrations, and tools for page insights analysis." Firms also receive "one-to-one partner managers" and "early access to unreleased features as a structured way to drive innovation on the Facebook platform." Grip has received two Preferred Marketing Developer badges, one for the development of pages and another for applications. "It's an honour for Grip to be recognized as one of the world's best by the Facebook PMD team," said Harvey Carroll, president of Grip. "It's a tough distinction to earn, but we have the kind of senior level talent that can get the job done on fun and engaging social networks like Facebook. We get it. We understand social marketing.
