New president at Siren Communications

Siren Communications of Toronto has appointed Candice Best to the newly-created position of president. She has been working for the agency as a consultant since May. Best previously operated her own firm called Best PR Boutique. Prior to that, she was a partner at McCain Best Communications. She has also been manager of media relations at Bell Canada, a media relations specialist at Ernst & Younge, a communications manager at CIBC and a communications specialist at Microcell.
"Tourism numbers are up and forecasts are optimistic across the board," said Ann Layton, founder and CEO of Siren Communications. "The addition of a seasoned public relations professional of Candice Best's calibre will support our growth at this exciting time.
