The Toronto Maple Leafs and Coca-Cola Canada are readying a promotional program in support of the second annual Coca-Cola Zero Fans First Game. The pre-season game, which will take place in Toronto on Sept. 16, will be attended by hockey fans who have won free tickets through a variety of methods, including retail promotions, special events, the ICoke.ca website and social media activities. The contest elements will begin on July 17 and continue through the summer. The game will also be promoted with a branded 30-foot trailer containing a replica of the team's dressing room. Promotion will also include appearances by Leafs players. "This event is one of the more exciting promotions in professional sports," said Tom Anselmi, executive vice-president and COO at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. "The Coca-Cola Zero Fans First Game is more than just a preseason game. We've created a host of initiatives around the game to make it into a memorable event for Leafs fans who have not typically had an opportunity to experience a live Leafs game at Air Canada Centre."
