Hasbro begins G.I. Joe promotion

Toy company Hasbro has begun an international campaign for its G.I. Joe brand to coincide with the upcoming release of the movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra on Aug. 7. The online promotion invites consumers to create their own G.I. Joe action figure at <http://www.gijoe.com>. Users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, the UK and the US can enter a draw to win an action figure made in their own likeness.
