YTV readies Wow! Patrol promotion

Specialty channel YTV is preparing a travelling summer promotion called the "Wow! Patrol" in association with Hasbro and Kraft. The program, aimed primarily at children between the ages of six and 14, will begin on June 5 and run until Sept. 6. During that time, promotional workers in branded vehicles will visit a number of festivals and attractions nationally. The installation will promote a number of products, including Hasbro's Nerf N-Sport, N-Strike and Dart Tag lines, its Beyblade: Metal Fusion toy line, and its Cuponk game. In addition, Kraft will conduct sampling of its KD Crackers product. The vehicles will also include a wall of video displays promoting upcoming YTV programming. YTV is owned by Corus Entertainment.
