Molson continues Coors Light campaign

Molson Canada has begun a promotion for Coors Light as part of its ongoing "Cold Certified" campaign. The initiative invites consumers to submit potential advertising slogans for the brand beginning with the words "Colder than..." Consumers can suggest lines online at <http://www.coorslight.ca> or via cell phone until Aug. 16. Public voting will then take place until Aug. 30. The campaign also includes magazine advertising, posters in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary, online banner advertising, social media activities and email ads. "We saw our consumers coming up with lines that are often better than ours," said Jamie Sprules, brand manager for Coors Light. "So this year we have stepped it up by making it easier for them to write and share their lines." The print and out-of-home ads were developed by DraftFCB, while the online work was handled by 58Ninety and the mobile component was created by MyThum Interactive.
