Toronto Tempo releases video

The Toronto Tempo, a new team in the Women’s National Basketball Association, has released a promotional video to begin a countdown of one year to its first game. Developed by Mint, the 60-second video seeks to raise awareness of the team and uses the concept of “tempo” as an expression of competition and drive. The creative features fast imagery of basketball being played. It will run online on social media sites. Additional agencies participating in the promotion include Mettle, Craft PR, Supper and Tough Love. The Toronto Tempo is owned by Kilmer Sports Ventures.
“When crafting this film, we wanted to match the pace of a city that meets competition head-on and drives the game forward,” said Kim Tarlo, executive creative director at Mint. “The film also tells the story of Canada, which is one of passion and multiple perspectives. Working with the Tempo and its incredible agency partners was a radically collaborative effort, and one we approached with immense joy.”
