New president at Bell Media

BCE of Montreal has promoted Randy Lennox to the position of president of Bell Media. He will lead strategy and operations for the media company's conventional, pay and specialty television channels, as well as its radio stations, digital properties, out-of-home advertising and special projects.

Lennox was previously president of content and broadcasting at Bell Media, where he was responsible for the CTV Networks, local radio and television, English-language specialty channels, in-house content production and IHeartRadio Canada. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Universal Music Canada.

Outgoing president Mary Ann Turcke has left the company to become president of digital media for the National Football League.

"Randy Lennox is a seasoned entertainment executive renowned for his commitment to the growth and success of Canada's media community," said George Cope, president and CEO of BCE and Bell Canada. "On behalf of our team, I thank Mary Ann Turcke for her outstanding accomplishments at Bell Media and Bell Canada over the last 12 years, and wish her the very best in an exciting new role with the NFL."
