New chair at Destination Canada

The Government of Canada has appointed Ben Cowan-Dewar to the position of chairperson of the board of directors of tourism organization Destination Canada. He was most recently co-founder and managing director of Nova Scotia-based golf resort Cabot Links. Prior to that, he was president and founder of Golf Travel Impresarios. Cowan-Dewar has also been chair of the board of directors at Tourism Nova Scotia. Destination Canada is a national tourism marketing organization that markets Canada as a four-season travel destination.
