New chief marketing officer at Tourism Toronto

Tourism Toronto has appointed Jon Mamela to the position of executive vice-president and chief marketing officer. He has spent the last five years at Destination Canada as senior vice-president and chief marketing officer. Mamela has also held sales and marketing positions at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Travel Alberta and Procter & Gamble.
Andrew Weir has promoted to the the newly-created position of executive vice-president of destination development. He has been executive-vice-president and chief marketing officer for the past four years. Prior to that, he was vice-president of communications at the Tourism Toronto.
