Awards: Canadian Marketing Association

The Toronto-based Canadian Marketing Association has named Lori Davison its 2017 Marketer of the Year. Davison is the vice-president of brand strategy and communications at the SickKids Foundation. The foundation's "SickKids Vs" campaign, developed by Cossette, won the Best of the Best Award at the association's annual event this week.
Additional gold award winners included WD-40 Company and Bimm for their "Haunted Door Mailer" direct mail campaign, Unilever and Ogilvy Toronto for their "Dove Baby Beautifully Real Moms" mobile campaign, Royal LePage and Environics Analytics for their "Your Perfect Life" data-based campaign and Tourism Toronto for its "The Views are Different Here" online campaign.
