SAATCHI CHIEF HEADS EAST

Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Worldwide of Toronto president and CEO Patrick Pitcher is leaving the agency on Jan. 1, 1997 to become CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Asia. He is replacing Peter Watkins, who is leaving the advertising business. A replacement for Pitcher will be named by the end of November. The countries Saatchi services in the Asian region include Greater China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Multinational clients include: Toyota, Procter & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard and DuPont.
