Secret sponsors Women's Hockey Showcase

Procter & Gamble has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Professional Women’s Hockey Player’s Association in the name of its Secret Deodorant brand. The brand will sponsor the association’s Dream Gap Tour. It will specifically be the title sponsor of the Secret Women’s Hockey Showcase, which will take place in Toronto from Jan. 11 to 12, 2020. The event will consist of a series of games between six teams and 120 players.

“Since 1956 Secret has been committed to supporting women, standing behind those who challenge the status quo and shining a spotlight where there is a gap on equal pay and equal opportunities,” said Lisa Reid, brand director at Secret Canada. “Today, we stand proudly with the PWHPA and the women who are fighting for an equal chance to play the sport they love. Secret believes equal sweat deserves equal opportunity. We hope all Canadians will join us to push for a more equal future in hockey.”
