Boston Pizza begins Christmas Pizza promotion

Boston Pizza Canada has begun a holiday season promotion in support of a limited-time menu item called the Christmas Pizza. The initiative makes use of a special pizza box that plays a carol called Chorus of the Pizza when opened. Randomly-selected customers who order the pizza will receive it in the special box. The offer is being promoted with a television commercial. The campaign was developed by John St. of Toronto. The musical box was produced by Gas Company.
“Christmas is kind of stressful for a lot of people, so we thought it would be nice to have some fun with the pizza and the advertising at the same time,” said Angus Tucker, chief creative officer at John St. “We think this work is almost as fun as the pizza.”
