Enbridge Gas sponsors First Robotics Canada

Natural gas company Enbridge Gas has signed a sponsorship agreement with educational charitable organization First Robotics Canada. Enbridge will support teams of students from eight Ontario secondary schools participating in the organization’s annual robot-building competitions. The initiative is intended to encourage students to pursue the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
“STEM-related jobs are in high demand and organizations like First Robotics Canada are helping students realize their potential and passion,” said Cynthia Hansen, president of Enbridge Gas. “Beyond STEM, First is about more than robots. They teach students confidence, teamwork and collaboration which demonstrates the values of integrity and respect. The values of First are strongly aligned with those of Enbridge.”
