Quebec video game events to combine
Coop La Guilde, a cooperative of independent video game developers in Quebec, and Alliance numérique, an industry group representing game developers in Quebec, have formed an agreement to combine their annual events this year. These events are the Montreal Expo Gaming Arcade consumer show and the Montreal International Game Summit business-to-business conference. The combined event will take place in Montreal from Nov. 16 to 19. It will feature presentations from international developers for the general public and for members of the industry.
“It’s amazing to see La Guilde and Alliance numérique join forces,” said Jean-Martin Aussant, executive director of Coop La Guilde. “We will be developing this union so that the entire Quebec video game industry can speak with one voice, both here at home and on the world stage.”
