ADVERTISING HELPS RAISE MONEY

An advertising campaign created by Bryant, Fulton & Shee of Vancouver helped British Columbia's Children's Hospital raise almost $5 million for its Children's Miracle Network Telethon held in June. The campaign used TV, radio, print, outdoor, direct mail and events to create awareness of the hospital and the telethon. A Jeans Day event raised $530,000 alone, with 106,000 British Columbians buying $5 buttons that allowed them to wear jeans to work for the day. The event was sponsored by Shoppers Drug Mart, Bootlegger, Guess Jeans, 7-Eleven and Dairy Queen.
