The Vancouver-based Canadian Gene Cure Foundation has introduced new branding an a new website for its Jeans for Genes Day event. The registered charitable organization raises funds for medical genetics research in Canada. During the annual Jeans for Genes Day initiative, which will take place this year on Oct. 12, individuals who make a donation to the organization receive a denim button and are encouraged to wear jeans. The rebranding initiative includes a new logo and the tagline, “Wear a Button. Make a Statement.” The website is located at <http://www.jeansforgenes.ca>. The work was done by Young & Rubicam. This year, buttons will be distributed through Bootlegger, Pharmasave and Purdy’s Chocolate stores nationally.
