Four out-of-home firms launch transit ad planning model

Four Canadian out-of-home advertising firms, CBS Outdoor, Lamar Outdoor, Metromédia Plus and Pattison Outdoor, have introduced a new planning model for transit advertising. According to the companies, this transit reach frequency model will give advertisers access to a single source of planning information through BBM/RTS: RAE, a division of BBM Canada. The service will offer demographic data, product usage information, media habits and other information gathered by BBM. The model is intended to allow advertisers more flexibility in planning transit ad campaigns and more details analysis of the results. Information will be available for transit systems in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, London, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax. According to the companies, the model is the result of three years of cooperative work in association with SMR Research/RJA.
