CBS Outdoor to become Outfront Media

New York-based out-of-home media company CBS Outdoor is preparing to rebrand itself as Outfront Media. The name change will take effect on Nov. 20, along with the launch of a new website at <http://www.outfrontmedia.com>. According to the company, the new brand is intended to represent the company's position in the industry, as well as to reflect its recent separation from CBS Corporation and initial public offering.
"Outfront captures exactly who we are as a completely reenergized company and where we'll be with innovative technology and creativity for our advertising clients," said Jeremy Male, the company's chief executive officer. "Our bold new identity also represents the unmatched audience that our prime assets will deliver as we elevate our business and industry to new heights."
The company operates billboard, transit and digital display advertising properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.
