CTV, Rogers add two to Olympic consortium

The consortium founded by CTV and Rogers to handle coverage of the 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games has appointed Rick Chisholm executive vice-president of broadcasting and Alon Marcovici vice-president of digital media and research. Chisholm will oversee the on-air broadcasts related to the games on television, radio, online and mobile devices. He will also lead the production staff and supervise the broadcast centres in Vancouver and London. Chisholm was most recently vice-president of programming and production at TSN. Marcovici will manage the consortium's digital programming, including online, mobile and video-on-demand activities. He will also oversee the research staff. Marcovici has previously worked at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the National Basketball Association, the Florida Panthers, the Toronto Board of Trade and NBC Olympics.
