G Adventures hires marketing vice-president

Toronto-based travel company G Adventures has appointed Alon Marcovici to the position of vice-president of global marketing. He was most recently vice-president of consumer sales and marketing at The Globe and Mail. Prior to that, he was vice-president of digital media and research at Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium. He has also worked at CTVglobemedia, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and the Toronto Board of Trade.
