Samsung Electronics Canada has signed an agreement with the Toronto Board of Trade to become the organization’s official electronics sponsor. “Today’s announcement underscores Samsung’s commitment to not only the consumer audience but the business and financial community as well,” said Benjamin Lee, president of Samsung Canada. “This partnership will assist Samsung in forming strategic relationships with key decision makers in each of the corporate, entrepreneurial and small business communities.”

Scott Paper has begun an in-store promotion as part of its association with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. During the initiative, consumers who buy eligible Scotties and Cashmere brand products can mail in for a free CD called “Songs from the Heart,” which contains songs by a number of breast cancer survivors and popular musicians. The program was developed by Solutions with Impact of Toronto.
