Awards: Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada

The Toronto-based Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada has announced the winners of its 2015 Sponsorship Marketing Awards. The "Clara's Big Ride" campaign conducted by Bell as part of its "Let's Talk" initiative received the organization's Best in Show award. Scotiabank's "Community Hockey" and "Hockey Day in Canada" campaigns were added to the organization's "Hall of Fame."

Other gold award winners included Sunlife Financial and the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, the Osheaga music festival, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the George Street Festival, Ford, the Canadian Tire Olympic Partnership, Mondelez and the Scotiabank Giller Prize.

"The event was a testament to the forward-thinking nature and creativity of the Canadian sponsorship marketing landscape," said Tyler Mazereeuw, chair of the Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada. "Not only were we able to celebrate the best of Canadian sponsorship, but the bold discussions and brave ideas coming out of the 12th annual conference will continue to push the boundaries of sponsorship marketing and better the industry as a whole."
