
Blue Ant Media promotes three

Blue Ant Media of Toronto has promoted three members of its senior staff. Jamie Schouela has been promoted to chief operating officer. He was previously president of global channels and media. Prior to joining the company, Schouela was vice-president of marketing at Shaw Media.
Carlyn Staudt has been promoted to the position of president of global channels and streaming. She was most recently executive vice-president of programming and development at Blue Ant property Love Nature. Prior to that, Staudt was head of commissioning for the company’s free streaming and pay TV channels. She previous worked at National Geographic.
Mitch Dent has been promoted to president of Canadian media. He was previously executive vice-president of consumer shows, media sales and publishing. He also managed the company’s Cottage Life publishing division. Dent has previously worked at Rogers Media and Today’s Parent Group.
