Love Nature debuts 4K channel

Blue Ant Media of Toronto has launched a new version of its specialty television channel Love Nature. The linear television channel specializes in wildlife and nature programming broadcast in the 4K Ultra HD format. To promote the launch, cable company Videotron is offering a one-month free preview period to its customers. Blue Ant plans to expand the channel to additional carriers over a period of months.
"No genre of programming looks better in 4K than nature and wildlife content and we're thrilled to bring this superior resolution to Canadian audiences," said Jamie Schouela, executive vice-president of Canadian networks at Blue Ant Media. "The new channel reinforces our commitment to meet the growing demand for 4K television in Canada by giving viewers a front row seat to the breath-taking vistas and fascinating animal stories we produce for our Love Nature brand."
