Ford begins Future Forward campaign

Ford Canada has begun a social media campaign called “Future Forward” that will promote several Ford electric vehicles. The campaign takes the form of a three-part series of episodes on Twitter. It was developed by So.da, the in-house social media and digital agency of Corus Entertainment, in collaboration with Mindshare Content+ and BBDO. Each episode examines the ways in which technology has effected different professions. The first episode features a fashion designer and promotes the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The second features a photographer and promotes the Ford Escape. The third features a beekeeper and promotes the Ford Maverick.

“‘Future Forward’ marks the 11th series produced under Twitter Originals Fueled by So.da and the first time we've partnered with an automotive brand,” said Dervla Kelly, senior vice-president of marketing at Corus. “Ford is a model of innovation and ‘Future Forward’ showcases character-driven stories that highlight the ways with which each person is leveraging technology to innovate in their respective fields while working smarter, staying more connected, reducing their carbon footprint and embodying the Ford brand.”
