Tim Hortons conducts Maple Leafs Timbit promotion

Tim Hortons has begun a promotion in collaboration with the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. Until April 6, the chain will sell limited edition Maple Leafs Next Gen Timbits at participating downtown Toronto locations. The item consists of blue and white sprinkles on a chocolate glazed Timbit. Tim Hortons gave away 500 boxes of the Timbits to launch the promotion at a recent Maple Leafs game at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
“We were thrilled to work with our long-time partners the Toronto Maple Leafs on their Next Gen event and wanted to give all of Toronto the opportunity to try the Toronto Maple Leafs Next Gen Timbits,” said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer at Tim Hortons. “Our downtown Toronto restaurant owners who carry the Toronto Maple Leafs Next Gen Timbits are so excited to be sharing them with hockey fans and all their guests.”
