Corus readies Home To Win contest

Corus Entertainment specialty television channel HGTV Canada is preparing a contest promotion tied to its home improvement series Home To Win. As part of the season, viewers who are first-time homebuyers can enter to win the house featured in the show. Viewers can enter online at <http://www.hometowin.ca>. The eight-week season will begin on April 29.

Corus has signed a series of sponsors for this season of Home To Win. Leon's will be the official furnisher of the show, with a sponsorship including product integration, scenes filmed at a Leon's store and a series of short videos and online content. Benjamin Moore will be the paint sponsor of the series for a third year. Its deal also includes product integration, digital content, short videos and social media activities. Tempur-Pedic will return as the mattress sponsor of Home To Win, with exposure including product integration, in-store scenes, short videos and a contest component.

Home security company ADT will also return as a sponsor, as will window dressing company Hunter Douglas and insulation company Rockwool. New sponsors this season will include tile and countertop maker Caesarstone, outdoor power equipment brand Stihl, masonry and stone supplier Rinox, and window and door supplier Gentek.

"Home To Win offers a diverse selection of brands the opportunity to be promoted in a unique and impactful way," said Lynn Chambers, vice-president of Corus Tempo. "These brands are organically integrated into the series story lines and supported through Corus' extensive broadcast and digital platforms as well as talent partnerships, ultimately developing authentic consumer intent and increased brand awareness."
