Shaw Media has signed a series of sponsors for the second season of reality program Top Chef Canada, which airs on Food Network Canada. GE Monogram has signed-on as a series sponsor and official appliance supplier. The company will outfit the set kitchen with appliances and provide the grand prize winner with a kitchen worth $30,000. The company will also place Top Chef Canada branded signage in-store at some retailers. Finish dishwasher detergent has also signed as a series sponsor. The brand will provide an episode-specific prize of $5,000 to one competitor and conduct a national four-week consumer contest for a catered dinner for six. Sponsor SpongeTowels will provide the show's $100,000 grand prize and conduct a national four-week consumer contest for a trip for two to Toronto and dinner at a Mark McEwan restaurant. SpongeTowels is also promoting the series with recipes distributed inside specially-marked packages. Additional sponsors include Rickard's beer, Johnson & Johnson, Glaceau Smartwater, Milestones Grill & Bar, the Shops at Don Mills and Caesarstone.
