Williams to retire from Corus Entertainment

Barb Williams, executive vice-president and chief operating officer at Corus Entertainment of Toronto, will retire on Oct. 31. She joined the company when Corus acquired Shaw Media in 2016. At Shaw she was senior vice-president of content. Williams has also held the positions of senior vice-president of programming at CanWest MediaWorks and executive vice-president of content at Canwest. Corus has announced that it has no plans to seek a new COO.
