Leon's conducts promotion with HGTV Canada

Furniture retail chain Leon's Furniture has begun a promotion in association with specialty television channel HGTV Canada. Products sold by the chain will be featured on four upcoming episodes of reality series The Expandables, which focuses on home renovation. In addition, promotional videos during commercial breaks will provide more information about the products in the show. The campaign also includes promotion on HGTV Canada properties, including digital pre-roll on The Expandables web page, and on-air advertising. HGTV Canada is owned by Shaw Media.

"The furniture integration sponsorship with Leon's provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase their brand and its offerings to Canadians," said Errol Da-Ré, senior vice-president of sales at Shaw Media. "This major partnership allows our client to leverage the HGTV Canada brand to reach targeted consumers, specifically homeowners interested in renovating, organizing or refreshing their existing spaces."
