Juno Awards seeks sponsors

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences is seeking additional sponsors for the 2014 Juno Awards for Canadian music. The 43rd annual awards will take place in Winnipeg in March. The organization is seeking sponsors at various levels. Sponsorships can include brand exposure, national and local promotional activities, on-site consumer events, corporate hospitality activities, social media exposure, product placement and contest participation. According to the organization, sponsorships can be customized and various category-exclusive agreements are available.

"There are still plenty of ways to be front and centre at the most important Canadian entertainment event of the year," said Carolyn Dunne, senior manager of sponsorship and marketing at the academy. "Music is near and dear to the hearts and minds of Canadians, and the Juno Awards offer brands a national showcase."

Existing sponsors of the event include Factor, the Government of Canada, the Radio Starmaker Fund, the Province of Manitoba, the City of Winnipeg, Tourism Winnipeg, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries and TD Bank Group. Broadcast sponsors include Dodge, Garnier, TD and Virgin Mobile.
