TSN, Running Room ready new online series

Specialty television channel TSN and athletic apparel retail chain Running Room have begun a joint initiative in the form of an original digital series called Knowledge and Performance: The Science of Running. The 13-part series will be posted online at <http://www.tsn.ca/running>. It will be hosted by physiologist Greg Wells and will cover topics related to the mechanics of running and the improvement of performance. The series will be sponsored by Mizuno and PowerBar. The videos will be accompanied by a series of branded articles that will provide additional information on training and performing. "Partnering with Running Room on The Science of Running illustrates how TSN continues to innovate with content while entertaining and informing its audience," said Mark Silver, head of TSN Digital. "During the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympic broadcasts, Dr. Wells became synonymous with the science of sport. His new series delivers tremendous insight on running and how to properly push and train the human body while also providing our advertisers with sponsorship of unique branded content only available on TSN.ca."
