GoodLife Fitness, Dairy Farmers of Canada begin joint promotion

GoodLife Fitness and Dairy Farmers of Canada will begin a joint promotion this month intended to encourage residents of Ontario and the Maritimes to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. During the promotion, which will run until January 2013, chocolate milk will be promoted as the "official recovery beverage" of GoodLife Fitness Clubs in those provinces. The agreement includes visibility in approximately 160 GoodLife clubs through the sponsorship of group exercise studio spaces and other forms of branding. The deal also includes a presence on GoodLife's online properties, newsletters and advertising. "One of the main factors in leading a healthy lifestyle is great nutrition, so we are really happy to be partnering with DFC to champion the benefits of chocolate milk," said David Patchell-Evans, CEO of GoodLife. "The fact that chocolate milk has been shown in recent studies to speed up the recovery process and recharge the body for its next workout after vigorous activity makes this partnership a natural fit for GoodLife."
