CBC has launched a new entertainment news website at <http://www.cbc.ca/live>. The site will cover events including the Gemini Awards, the Toronto International Film Festival, the CCMA Awards and national Culture Days events. The site will also carry news about television programming, film premieres and music events, as well as interviews and other content. "At CBC, we're focused on celebrating the very best in Canadian talent," said Kirstine Stewart, executive vice-president of English services at CBC. "CBC Live is a great way for Canadians to connect to the entertainment scene in our country online - easy access for the entertainment lover anywhere in Canada."
