Molson Coors begins Ultimate Day 2 contest

Molson Coors Canada will begin a contest promotion today called "Ultimate Day 2." The contest, which is part of the company's active lifestyle and responsible choices program, is aimed at Canadian university and college students. Consumers can enter online at the brand's Facebook page until Oct. 6. The winner will receive a one-day trip for two that will begin with breakfast in Halifax, followed by lunch and shopping in Toronto, and ending with dinner and a hockey game in Vancouver. "Last year's Ultimate Day contest had an amazing response with entries from across Canada and our winner definitely had an ultimate day exploring this country while celebrating responsible choices," said company spokesperson Gavin Thompson. "We think this is a great way to reinforce the message that what you get out of a day is shaped by the responsible decisions you make the night before." The contest part of the Molson Coors campus responsible drinking program which uses the tagline, "Today is brought to you by last night's choices." Other elements include posters, taxi advertising and on-campus digital signage.
