Cellular telephone provider Mobilicity has constructed a new website at <http://www.backtoschoolblog.ca>. The site will carry a collection of blogs by five Canadian students in their first years at various post-secondary schools. The students will post to these blogs via five different Mobilicity smartphones using text, photographs and video. In addition, visitors to the site can vote for a favourite blogger until the end of the month to be entered into a draw for a Mobilicity smartphone and one year of service. "Going back to school plays a notable role in our lives because it's at school where we typically form meaningful, lifelong friendships, learn important ideas and start to follow new paths in life," said Mobilicity chief customer officer Anthony Booth. "With Backtoschoolblog.ca, Mobilicity is paying tribute to these special experiences using the power of our smartphones and blogging technology to bring five Canadian students' back-to-school stories to life."
