Dairy Farmers of Canada breaks greenhouse gas campaign

The Ottawa-based Dairy Farmers of Canada has begun a new advertising campaign promoting the dairy industry’s efforts to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Called “I'm In,” the campaign presents dairy farmers as “stewards of the land” and demonstrates farm innovations that improve sustainability. The creative features real dairy farmers on their farms. The campaign will run from July 1 to Aug, 12, consisting of television and digital advertising, as well as influencer activities.

“It was important for us to remind consumers that caring for the environment is not new for dairy farmers, and in fact it's one of the many reasons that our Blue Cow logo is so trusted by Canadians,” said Pamela Nalewajek, vice-president of marketing at Dairy Farmers of Canada. “Our farmers have been working for decades to farm sustainably, making many changes over time, in order to create a future for dairy that not only reflects consumer priorities but demonstrates that Canadian dairy farmers share their values too.”
