
Kelseys breaks dip campaign

Restaurant chain Kelseys Original Roadhouse has begun an advertising campaign called “Dip Dip Hooray” promoting its Four Cheese Spinach Dip menu item. The effort consists of billboards in Ontario and eastern Canada. The billboards are located along routes to popular summer road trip destinations in proximity to 67 Kelseys locations. These are being accompanied by a television commercial, digital ads, influencer activities and direct mail. The campaign was developed by Toronto-based Ostrich Studios, with media work by Genuine Media. Kelseys is a subsidiary of Recipe Unlimited.
“Our Four Cheese Spinach Dip is one item that has become synonymous with the brand for much of our forty-year history,” said Shannon Lawler, director of marketing at Kelseys Original Roadhouse. “It's a menu item that is loved by our guests and social media followers and is often imitated, but never duplicated.”
