Kelseys breaks patio campaign

Restaurant chain Kelseys Original Roadhouse has begun a campaign called “Trip down the block - to our patio.” The effort consists of television commercials, online videos and radio ads highlighting the chain’s new menu items and the opening of its locations’ patios for the summer. The creative features the music of rock band Steppenwolf. Out-of-home and social media elements will be added later in the year. The campaign was developed by Toronto-based The Christina Yu Project. Kelseys is owned by Recipe.
“We know that our Original Roadhouse dining experience has always been something that's set us apart,” said Shannon Lawler, chief operating officer at Kelseys. “We wanted to lean into that road trip mindset and apply it to the everyday at a time when warmer weather gets people excited about hitting the patio with family and friends.”
