Corus Quebec joins Olympic broadcast consortium

Corus Québec has joined the Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium as the exclusive French-language radio broadcaster for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The company will carry coverage of the games on 10 stations in Quebec. "Corus Québec has a significant presence in the Quebec market and is a leader in French-language sports and news radio," said Keith Pelley, president of the consortium. "Having developed a loyal following, Corus Québec is entrenched in the Quebec media landscape and is a trusted source in the French-Canadian community." The other members of the consortium are CTV and Rogers Media.
