CTV begins Air Canada Amazing World Experience contest

CTV has begun a contest promotion supporting the program The Amazing Race, conducted in association with Air Canada. The initiative, called "The Air Canada Amazing World Experience," was developed by Marketel of Montreal. Viewers can enter online at CTV.ca for the grand prize of a trip to four continents. Four secondary prizes of a trip to Asia, Europe, South America or Australia will also be distributed. The contest will run until Nov. 23. "The Amazing Race has inspired viewers nationwide to want to travel and see the world," said Mary Kreuk, vice-president of marketing at CTV. "CTV and Air Canada's exclusive contest will now give Canadians a chance to actually experience a trip of a lifetime, and experience it in style." CTV is promoting the contest with 30-second, 10-second and five-second on-air ads. Ads will also be displayed on Metrovision screens in Montreal. Online banners are running on CTV.ca, Travelandescape.ca, Discoverychannel.ca and Aircanada.com.
